Annie first contacted me through the Romany and Traveler Family Society after seeing my request for information
on the Cooper /Jeffs/Barnes/Keats and Dorset travelers in general .
It turned out that she knew many of the families that I was researching herself being descended from the Cooper and Jeff family and so our friendship began out of a mutual interest in family history and it wasent long before John also got the "bug" and was soon beavering away for many hours (now years) inputing all our combined efforts into a methodical and well organised main Gedcom Tree which has proved so much easier than all my previous notes and papers scattered every where John has a natural aptitude for organisation unlike me!!.John has spent many hours typing data and without him I definitely would not have got so far as he and Annie are allways going here there and everywhere recorded where possible family history both orally and in written form such as Record Offices plus John is the brains when it comes to computers !! if ever I get stuck John allways manages to sort the problem out .
I cant thank them enough for all their help and support and for being truly wonderful and sincere friends its not very often you meet people who are so sincere and ask nothing in return but friendship and to lend a shoulder when needed and a ear to listen ! you are truly a lovely couple and you have enriched my life so a big thankyou I just wanted you both to know and also others to know what hard work you both do for the sake of preserving family history.
Annie parents Sampson Cooper and Louie Jeff are pictured below left, along with Eliza Jeff Annies granny on the far right and in the middle is the happy couple themselves relaxing from family history!!.
