 Jukels ful for Prastermengros

Or the the wudrus of the rommer'd rauni,

Tatcho Kom - Romni's Gilli True Love - Wife's Song

Mi dukerdom i rawni

Adrey dova bawri kair

Kek kawli chovihani

vel ker lis kushtier

Man pukkerdom rinkeni kovas

A barvelo rye te sar

Yoi das amengi luva

Mi pordo vast ajaw!

Oh mi sosti rokker, dukker

Gorgios adrom,

Booti, booti, sor pa tootie

Miro kamlo rom!

I fortunetold the lady

In that big house

No gypsy witch

could do it better

I told her pretty things

A rich gentleman and how

She gave to me money

My full hand so!

Oh how I chatter, flatter gentiles near and far

Working, working, all for you

My beloved man!

 2

 Oh Romanies shan jongar

Mi shom kek dineli chai.

Mi garedom o vonger

Te kekeno jindas kai

Mi kindom kushto varo

I rarti, kunjerni

O moriklo si keri,

av,diri tatcho, si

Pawno varo, pawno luva

kettini dre e moriklo

Booti, booti. sor pa tootie

Kamlo pirino!

Oh Romanies are cunning

I am not a foolish girl

I hid away the money

And nobody knew where

I bought good flour

the nighttime, secretly.

The cake is made

come, dear true, t'is

White flour, white money

together within a cake

Grafting, grafting, all for you

Beloved sweetheart!
